Sherbet Wrap

A bit of inspiration behind the name:

I had been wanting to try this yarn for easily a year, I just love the spring flowers vibe it has!  Bonus, its soooo soft!  I love spring and summer when the sun comes out but we all know there are those chilly mornings or evenings that sneak up on us and that was the inspo behind this design.  I love a design that does double duty and not only is this a cute wrap for around the neck but it can be pulled down to drape over your shoulders while keeping you cute and on trend for spring and summer’s bright and fun colors.

This one really works for Summer!!! I say that because you may think it looks like a heavy unneeded layer but hear me out hehe. It was my favorite for the whole shoot! Its amazing how light it was but yet my shoulders instantly warmed up and I didn’t even realize it was getting colder. It was EXACTLY what I hoped it would be! I didn’t even register it was an added layer it’s so light even though the yarns doubled, the yarn itself felt floss candy like. The added spaced texture helped it be light and let body heat flow out versus staying in and making your sweat (iykyk).

Let it grace your neck or tuck down to cover your shoulders and its PERFECT for spagetti straps! Someties I don’t want to show my arms and this allows you to show skin while not fully covering up your pretty dress!

GAUGE

**Please check your gauge before you start this pattern to match the finished measurements for this pattern:

It’s best to make your swatch slightly bigger than what the pattern states it should measure so you can measure it in the center of your square, getting an accurate reading. You can do this by adding 2 additional stitches and working 2 additional rows.  Do not count the first and last stitch in your measurement or the first and last row.

Needle Size Suggestions:

  • If your swatch has less stitches, swatch again using a smaller needle.

  • If your swatch has more stitches, swatch again using a larger needle.
